About this toy
A 71-piece take-apart set that builds seven construction vehicles, one at a time.
• Build one, drive it, take it apart: Each vehicle comes apart down to its screws and goes back together as something else. The kid-sized power drill, screwdriver and wrench are the real tools of the set.
• 71 pieces and a working electric drill: The drill actually drives the screws, which is why it gets used for everything once a child works out that the screws come out.
• What you'll notice: Nothing in the set stays assembled for long. That is the point — taking apart is the same skill as building, practised backwards.
Batteries: The vehicle lights and sounds are ready the moment the box is open — button cells come installed. The electric drill runs on 2 AA batteries, sold separately. We leave those out on purpose: most homes already have a drawer full, and the ones we would ship would sit in a warehouse for months before they reached you. Rechargeables work well here.
