Description

A rocket that builds in under five minutes, launches with a real steam effect, and carries its own astronaut.

• Add water, count down, launch: Water goes into the intake valve and comes out as a safe steam mist during the liftoff countdown. Children run the sequence themselves, and they run it again immediately.

• A capsule that comes away: The command capsule detaches from the booster body for landings on whatever counts as a planet that afternoon. The mini astronaut rides in either part.

• What you'll notice: The countdown gets said out loud every time. Nobody is taught to do this and nobody skips it.

Ages 3+ · Best for 6 and up · Rocket body with booster stages, crew capsule, mini astronaut and illustrated build guide · Lights and launch sounds · Steam effect needs AA batteries, not included

WARNING: CHOKING HAZARD — Small parts. Not for children under 3 yrs.

Common questions

Pieces, ages and batteries

What age is the Space Explorer Rocket for?

It is rated for ages 3 and up, and recommended for children six and up. Younger builders can join in with an adult for the first few builds.

Does it need batteries, a screen or an app?

The steam effect runs on AA batteries, which are not included. There is no app, no screen and nothing to download — and the rocket works just as well without the steam function.

What is included?

The full rocket body with booster stages, a crew capsule and a mini astronaut, plus an illustrated build guide.

How long does a build take?

Less than five minutes. Attach the capsule to the rocket, insert the batteries, and take off.

Can it be taken apart and rebuilt?

Yes. The parts are designed for small hands and are easy to put together and take apart again.

What is it made from?

Durable, kid-safe moulded parts built to stand up to repeated builds, launches and landings. It is rated for ages 3 and up and contains small parts, so it is not suitable for children under 3.
